Cutting images

First, open up your document (image). Here is an example that I would use.

Go to filter>extract. A window will pop up. It would show your picture and a bunch of tools on the left side. Here is what we will focus on

Change the brush size to 10 pixels. Now take the brush and start going around the part of the image that you want to cut out. If you made a mistake with the brush don't worry on your left side is an eraser. Use it to erase the mistake. Back to the extracting. After you have circle the image and got everything use the paint bucket on the left side and fill in the inside of the brush outline that you had circled around. Then click ok. Voila you had finally cut out the image.
